Do Me A Favor

I couldn't resist these cute little favor boxes from Basic Grey when I saw them in the Scrapping Turtle. Even though I knew I wouldn't be able to give them away, I still had to have them. They fit in perfectly with our kitchen theme of roosters and chickens. They were super easy and super quick to put together too. Aren't they cute?

Lime Rickey

Have you seen the new Lime Rickey line from Basic Grey? I love the colours in this one. I don't usually like a complete line of Basic Grey, but this one was a must have. I even picked up the card kit that goes with the line. Aren't they fabulous?

"I Believe I Can Fly" Challenge

I'm participating in the IceCROPades online crop on The Scrapping Nook forum and completed my first challenge Sunday evening. The "I Believe I Can Fly" challenge required us to create a layout from beginning to end in 30 minutes. Not exactly an easy thing for someone like me who usually takes an evening to create a layout. However, I met the challenge and finished my layout. 

"15 Months" showcases Samuel on his 15 month birthday. It doesn't come through really well in the photo of the layout, but he was laughing in this picture. I used the Archaic line from Basic Grey to do this layout. 

So what kind of layout can you create in 30 minutes?
